Hi,
Currently, True Type fonts will be always installed into
${PREFIX}/share/fonts/X11/TTF, and managed with mkfontscale or ttmkdir.
It means it is considers as just used with X11.
On the other hand, True Type fonts are also usable with non-X11,
especially native window system (OS X, Windows, Haiku...), but
fonts must be installed into special folders.
I want following features in pkgsrc:
1. prevent to depend on X11 related tools installing TTF if not using X11
2. register TTF as native system fonts in addition to X11
any ideas?
